YouTube and the marketing power of video.
A lot of different companies, in a lot of different sectors, are finally beginning to appreciate that video is a very powerful Social Media marketing tool.
Social Media marketing is not just about Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Digg, StumbleUpon, Tumblr and all those other Social Media platforms.
Look at how effective Tweeting a video link can be… More effective than sending a letter or an email? We think so! Very cost effective and hard to forget!
The beauty of video is that it’s also quick to install on a Blog or a website and once again, it’s very, very effective.
People like to watch and share videos, it’s easy and of course, music adds to the experience. Why else would YouTube have over 2,000,000,000 downloads per day!
Yes, that’s 2 BILLION!
Do you use video?
Do you Tweet video links?
Do you use video on your blog or website?
Does your marketing show you great returns?

Great post Peter – echoes the thoughts in my own blog today at http://www.saucyhorsesocialmedia.co.uk/2011/02/video-makes-your-life-better-well-gets-you-more-website-traffic-and-a-chance-to-get-more-customers/
Seems that great minds really do think alike! Video is a great medium and social media savvy companies should be all over the idea but why are people so slow? I know the economy is still tough, but not everyone is broke, some companies have made some serious money over the last decade, it’s time to reinvest in my opinion and get things moving again. Invest in Social Media and save money but cutting traditional over priced advertising campaigns. I can’t believe some of the stories I’ve heard recently about companies chucking money away on pointless campaigns and knowing that they’re doing it? It MUST be time to stop that kind of marketing I’m sure! Nice to hear from you, stay in touch!
